Each tour varies in pace and quite often a certain amount of walking is involved, including from the coach parking area to the place of interest which you are visiting. To reach panoramic views, there is sometimes gradient walking required and in some European destinations, the streets are often cobbled.
In the Italian lakes, it can be quite common for coaches to be unable to park directly outside hotels and therefore, some walking is required on arrival to reach accommodation.

The coaches or vehicles we use in different parts of the world vary. None are adapted for wheelchair use although wheelchairs can be placed in the hold. You will need to be able to navigate the steps to the vehicle yourself. It's really important that you tell us before making a booking if you plan to take a wheelchair, so that we can ensure the tour is right for you, and necessary arrangements can be made to ensure your comfort and safety.

Eurostar does have specially adapted wheelchair spaces where you are bringing your own, but these are limited, so please do speak to us before making your booking.

All itineraries are different. Some excursions may include different modes of transport which may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility. Please do call us so we can ensure the holiday you have chosen is right for you.
No. River Cruise ships with A-ROSA do not have lifts and you need to be able to walk up and down the stairs.
Porterage is included on most of our holidays and our Tour Manager's and Coach drivers will do their utmost to assist you, however we cannot guarantee that there will be luggage assistance on all of our tours and you should be prepared to transport your own luggage to your room. In some destinations, the coach may not be able to park right outside the hotel and you may need to wheel your own luggage to the reception area - this is particularly prominent on some Italian tours.

We are delighted to welcome solo travellers on our Classic tours, as well as our Exclusively for Solos tours. You are in safe hands and a wonderful opportunity to meet with fellow like minded travellers.
When travelling as a solo, we will ask you for next of kin details, should there be any emergency whilst on holiday.
We are unable to provide any special care for individual travellers whilst on holiday and you should make appropriate arrangements should this be a requirement.
If you have special dietary requirements, please ensure you advise us at the point of booking. We will pass this information to our suppliers who will do all they can to accommodate.
