Each tour varies in pace and quite often a certain amount of walking is involved, including from the coach parking area to the place of interest which you are visiting. To reach panoramic views, there is sometimes gradient walking required and in some European destinations, the streets are often cobbled.
In the Italian lakes, it can be quite common for coaches to be unable to park directly outside hotels and therefore, some walking is required on arrival to reach accommodation.

The coaches or vehicles we use in different parts of the world vary. None are adapted for wheelchair use although wheelchairs can be placed in the hold. You will need to be able to navigate the steps to the vehicle yourself. It's really important that you tell us before making a booking if you plan to take a wheelchair, so that we can ensure the tour is right for you, and necessary arrangements can be made to ensure your comfort and safety.

No. River Cruise ships with A-ROSA do not have lifts and you need to be able to walk up and down the stairs.
Portarage is included on most of our holidays and our Tour Manager's and Coach drivers will do their utmost to assist you. In some destinations, the coach may not be able to park right outside the hotel and you may need to wheel your own luggage to the reception area - this is particularly prominent on some Italian tours.
