We offer two types of breaks to attend the Championships at Wimbledon. Both packages include seating on No. 1 Court on the Finals Weekend of the tournament.
Wimbledon Tennis Break (two or three days)
This is our traditional package which we have successfully operated for nearly 30 years. These packages include either a one or two night stay at a chosen hotel plus coach transfers to and from Wimbledon. The first night is in the hotel, and the following day you visit Wimbledon. If you are booked on this package, you will be accompanied from the hotel to Wimbledon by a Newmarket Holidays Tour Manager. Coaches park less than 5 minutes walk to Gate 12 of Wimbledon.
On your return to your hotel at the end of the day, coaches will depart Wimbledon at 7pm. Your Tour Manager will provide full details. If you wish to remain at Wimbledon and not return with the coach (at your own expense), you are welcome to do so, but you must advise your Tour Manager.
Wimbledon Tennis & London Break (two or three days)
This package includes a one or two night stay in a London hotel. The first night is the day before a visit to Wimbledon. No transfers are included and you will make your own way to and from Wimbledon at your leisure.
Both of our Wimbledon breaks include tickets to the No.1 Court, NOT Centre Court. On the day of your visit to Wimbledon, you may visit the Wimbledon ticket desk. Here, you MAY be able to exchange and pay the difference to upgrade to Centre Court (direct to Wimbledon, not via Newmarket Holidays). However, this cannot be guaranteed. You have seats guaranteed on No. 1 Court.
Babes in arms and children under 5 years of age will not be allowed into No.1 Court or Courts 12 and 18 (the Show Courts). Children over 5 years of age are required to have their own ticket, which is priced the same as an adult. All children under the age of 16 must attend with an adult and be supervised appropriately & at all times. Children over 5 and under 12 are allowed into all courts provided they are accompanied by an adult at all times and in possession of their own ticket.
We cannot confirm exact seat numbers until you receive your tickets. All seats provide a fantastic view of the tennis. If you have a disability, or are bringing a wheelchair, please call us to make your booking so we can ensure we book the right package for you.
Both of our Wimbledon breaks include access for one day of the Finals Weekend.
You can book a "back to back" package by contacting our Holiday Planners.
Tickets are in digital form. You will be required to download the Wimbledon App. This will require you to have a smart phone. Paper tickets are not available for the Championships.
Towards the end of June, tickets will be deployed and ready for input to the My Wimbledon section of your App.
Your entry QR code will be visible on the morning of your visit to The Championships and not before.
Yes, you will be required to take photographic ID to the Championships, to present with your digital tickets to gain entry.
For our traditional packages (Wimbledon Tennis Break 2 days or Wimbledon Tennis Break 3 days), which include coach transfers, name changes can only be done before 30 June with an administration fee of £35pp. After 1 July, no name changes are permitted.
For customers booked on our Wimbledon Tennis & London Break, which do not include coach transfers, (2 or 3 days), any supplier charges for hotel name changes will apply and be passed onto you accordingly. This can only be done before 30 June. After 1 July, this would be classed as a full cancellation as outlined in our Booking Conditions.
Name changes can officially be made via Newmarket Holidays (as per our Booking Conditions), but it is forbidden to advertise or re-sell tickets for the Championships.
Alcohol may be brought into the grounds but is limited to the equivalent of one bottle of wine or Champagne (750ml) or two cans of beer (500ml) or two cans of premixed aperitifs per person. Bottles of spirits or fortified wines will not be allowed into the Grounds. You can bring snacks in with you, should you wish. Please check the Wimbledon App for more details as bag sizes may be restricted.
There are no left luggage facilities inside the Grounds. Oversize bags, picnic hampers and other prohibited items must be deposited in one of the left luggage facilities outside the Grounds (subject to availability) and are size restricted. All bags will be searched before acceptance into the left luggage facilities. There is a charge for this service, and this will be by cashless payment only. Do not leave your bags unattended at any time. If you have booked a package including transfers and are returning to the hotel with us at the end of the day, you should leave your luggage at the hotel or in your car at the hotel car park. We do not recommend luggage to be left on our coaches as they are subject to security searches throughout the day.
We are unable to book additional nights, other than what corresponds with our packages. We would recommend therefore that you contact the hotel directly to make additional night reservations.
We pass names to the hotel approx. 2 weeks before your stay, so don't be surprised if you call the hotel they are unable to find a reservation under your name, outside of 2 weeks before you check-in. Please explain you have booked a Newmarket Holidays package.
No.1 Court matches generally showcase the stars of tomorrow and yesteryear in the finals of the Junior and Invitation events on the final Saturday and Sunday. On the final Friday the No.1 Court Order Of Play normally includes some of the semi-finals of the main doubles competitions (however, please be aware that all schedules are at the discretion of The Championships Referee, and could be subject to change at short notice). You can wander the grounds and outside courts at your leisure and perhaps watch some of the Centre Court action on the big screen on Murray's Mount (the hill)
The schedule can be found here, closer to the time of the Championships: https://www.wimbledon.com/en_GB/atoz/schedule.html but is subject to change at the discretion of the Championships Referee.
